Fabian is awesome, great details. I'd give him a 5 star rating if he were just slightly more red in color like a real fox. The statue itself is more of a brown color. I'm tempted to keep him for myself, but he's a birthday gift for a friend.

My husband and son bought me this exact fox several years ago from our local garden center. It was one of the best gifts they ever got me. I love foxes and this one was such a sweet likeness. He suffered a tragic end, when my son tried to pry him out of the ground after an unexpected snow. I went online to see if I could find him and discovered he was actually a Design Toscano product. I was thrilled, especially since he was half the price my husband paid for him several years ago. I ordered him right away along with "Terrence the Terrier" for just a few dollars more than we paid for Fabian alone years ago. We will be more careful with this one and take him in when the weather gets bitterly cold. Care is required with this item, because there's a lot of detail on it that can easily be damaged.

Fabian is indeed fabulous! He's so cute and realistic that everyone does a double take when entering our drive. I have him on a tree stump in our woods...the perfect setting for this adorable, woodland figure. I had ordered another statue, "bandit the raccoon" several years ago and it has held up very nicely in my garden. I look forward to enjoying "Fabian the Fox"for years. I am very pleased with Design Toscano's quality products!
