Masterbuilt - Gravity Series™ 800 - Digital Charcoal BBQ and Smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I won this Grill at a local irrigation parts store. The folks there had put it together and had it on display. Unfortunately, they had messed the temperature probe up and I called Masterbuilt to see if I could get it warranted. They said yes and sent me out the new probe. I installed it and have been fully enjoying the food I get out of this unit. So easy to use-

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You always hear people say, "Why did I wait so long to get a smoker?". I now know why I waited. If I'd bought a smoker last year, it most likely would have been a pellet smoker. Don't get me wrong, pellet smokers are great, but charcoal brings it to the next level. This smoker/grill is so easy to use, and is unmatched in versatility. I can smoke, grill, sear, rotisserie, or make a pizza. And Oh my God; the flavor is unbelievable and the meat comes out juicy and tender each time. So far I have smoked pork and poultry, this weekend I will be smoking a prime rib and a beef brisket. Can't wait!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my grill for a little over two years, and I've had to replace the controller twice and the cover once because the elastic cord at the bottom broke. I'm also noticing that the sleeve in the coal shoot isn't standing up to temperatures when you sear steaks or just grill at a higher temperature. The sleeve will have to be replaces in the near future.
