Rowlinson Round Top Arch

I am very pleased with this arch, looks and feels like a solid item that should last. I found the actual fitting relatively straight forward, I put aside a whole morning but was done in under half an hour. I would definitely recommend this arch over the ones you can get from the DIY stores.

I debated whether to give three or four stars and decided on four entirely due to the fact that it looks great now its finished and in place. Gettinhg to this point was however a struggle. 1. Why oh why do the makers of these kits find it impossible to count the correct number of screws they claim to put in the pack? Two missing 70mm screws and one missing 40mm screw. Infuriating. 2. Stage 3 of the instruction is physically impossible. Even the diagram illustrates this! You simply cannot screw the arch onto the upright because the lower slats block any access for a screwdriver known to man. The solution requires considerable innovation and frustration. The instructions need rewriting. This last part is not a criticism but a warning. This arch is solid and heavy. Two people, a very solid base, and power tools are required. In time the memory of construction will fade and I will no doubt learn to love what is, at the end of the day, a very fine garden arch.

Bought to form a privacy screen because neighbour has built a raised deck that overlooks the fence. Beautiful arch, predrilled holes and easy to assemble. Painted in Cuprinol Willow shades paint, took a couple of coats, but very happy with it. Assembly takes at least two people. Very happy with the results.

Easy to assemble. The quality is very good compared to other products. The Romanesque arch design looks so good in the garden. Quite majestic really. Good price too and delivery
