This heavy-duty round picnic table is perfect for any commercial or heavy usage setting. It is a sturdy and significant piece of garden furniture. The wood is pressure-treated with Tanalith E to help prevent rotting and decay. Pressure-treating forces the treatment deeper into the wood so the timbers have a much longer lifespan than ordinary treatments. The timbers are also patterned with anti-warp grooves so there will be no buckling or warping due to temperature changes. Natural splitting and cracking may occur but will not affect the lifetime or structure of the product.

It wasn't too hard to put together though the diagrams in the instructions could have been more accurately drawn. It took 2 of us a good while to assemble due to the pre-drilled holes not all being accurate enough. It also needs to be turned over at least once to put it together and it's heavy so you will need some extra pairs of hands. Once assembled it is sturdy and looks good. A couple of minor design faults where small 'holes' are open to the weather may mean the water gets in over a period of time. We filled them and stained it in the hope it'll last a fair while. A good looking and very sturdy piece of garden furniture. As others have described, it can be a little awkward to assemble, but I did it on my own (4 hours) closely following the clear instructions. I found, as others found, the bolt through the seats to be most challenging. Needed to fabricate the 13mm socket with a piece of foam inside to stop the nut from going in too far, then I could bolt together, first without washer as bolt is short until seated, undo, add washer and bolt up again. Yes, I then needed a second person for turning it upright as it is too heavy to lift by one person once assembled! I’ve only put one chair together so far, having put one together I would say it would have been better to have had screws instead of Allen key which is hard work on the hands, couple of the legs could have been covered better with the rattan.
