I really like this grill. It gets much hotter than the electric grill I had before, which is great for getting a nice sear on steaks. The two core temperature probes are super helpful and make it easy to cook the steak exactly the way you like it. The cooking system in charcoal grills utilizes a patented tray that makes it easy to control cooking temperature, by creating more efficient burning and less wasted heat. I’ve had mine 3 years now. The cooking area is massive compared to my previous grills. This makes it perfect for offset cooking. Also, there is plenty of roo to cook pizza’s alongside the traditional steaks, burgers and sausages etc.. Controlling the heat is straightforward, I’ve successfully managed a consistent 200° for over 4 hours, the temp only dropping when I re-fuelled it. Because I offset cook, I can smoke food, although an option of a chimney on one side would have been good…. The door ar the front allows good access to top up the coals It’s extremely easy to clean, the grills come out using the lifting tool supplied and the trays contain the ashes well and the bottom tray collects all the ash and slides out for easy cleaning. The BBQ still look almost new, even after constant summer use with a family or 4 plus guests!!! I coat the outside with virgin olive oil before I wrap it up for winter. I am very pleased. I wish I'd never bought this BBQ and if I could return it for a refund I instantly would. It cooks food great, gets up to temp quickly, loads of space etc, but.....the triangular shaped bar rack underneath the grill plates collect fat/food deposits, it just sits there burning away and it smokes the entire garden out during warm up and cooking. It's terrible, so bad that you can't stand in front of it. We have to leave food, go inside the house and shut all the doors & windows until we guess the food is ready.. Peteg. Cambridgeshire Uk.
