I bought this mainly so my chickens would have a snow-free place to hang out this winter, especially during snow storms. I hate seeing them stuck in their coop to stay out of the elements. The directions for setting it up were really silly and even missing some steps, however, with a little bit of common sense and just looking at the pictures that had all the poles labeled, it was pretty easy to set up.
