Wivenhoe Park In Essex by John Constable - Wrapped Canvas Painting

An attractive bucolic picture. Lovely technique by the painter brings the scene to life. The right side is much darker than the sunlit hillside. Looking at the clouds I think there was a thunderstorm brewing. The colours appear faithful, the canvas was well stretched and stapled. Wrapped canvas are so easy to hang with command strips. The item arrived on time and was well packaged.
