Whilst the first mirror arrived smashed, they were really prompt at replacing it within a matter of days. Its a lovely simple but elegant mirror. The Full length Arched Mirror is a fine example of British craftsmanship by skilled Artisans. The antiqued elements have been hand applied and just enough to give a nice sophisticated boarder around the edge of the glass leaving just the right amount for pure reflection. Given the hand genuine antiqued nature of this product variation would be expected with not one item being identical. Two wall hanging hooks are attached to the back of the product for wall mounting. The frame itself is constructed from wood and finished in black which can be seen from a side view and is approx. 2cm depth.

I’ve tried to get a nice French style Cheval mirror for ages. After ordering from other companies that turned out to be disasters I ordered this one. Was weary upon seeing the reviews saying it was warped. It came very well packaged with easy instructions and with all the bits and pieces required. Upon putting it together I did indeed notice the pieces did not align well and it was warped. I decided to cut one of the wooden bits off to piece the stand together (It didn’t matter as there were two holes either side you had to screw in anyway). Once I did this the mirror stood up straight and looks fabulous - just what I was looking for! It would have been 5 stars if I didn’t have to do the DIY job. You can’t buy mirrors like these anymore in the U.K. it seems so very happy with my purchase! If you were reluctant like me, I’d suggest buy it and if it’s not for you then return.. Daniel.
