To make this item of beauty, they have to form the shape of the item by pouring liquid clay into a mould, letting this dry, then cleaned and prepared to be fired at 800 degrees. When the pot has cooled after firing, it is taken out of the kiln and the design is marked on the clay pot on the design marks the artist tube lines a fine slip of clay to give it the tube lined effect again, it is then fired at 800 degrees, then it finally goes to the painters who paint the vibrant colours the paint is left to dry glaze is applied and again fired. After being removed from the kiln, it is ready to be packed.

Very nicely made, just thought it was going to be more hollow……not very deep to where you can put longer reed-like arrangements in, so I had to put an artificial plant in the top of it.
