Heritage Brass Heritage Door Handle for Privacy Set Sophia Short Design (Set of 2)

Seems a bit flimsy and the finish is not perfect. But as it's the only lock I can fins that fits my bathroom door it will have to do@.

Good quality. Well made. Bought and fitted 3. Needed to shorten the privacy spindle by 15mm. Our doors are 35mm thick. Steel screw supplied to use when preparing holes (brass screws are inherently weaker and prone to shear when tightening). My only criticism is that the slot on the supplied steel screw is too shallow: easily shredded. I had to use my own deeper slotted screw.

I recently purchase this item in polished chrome in order to fit to a new bathroom door. However when i tried to assemble the set to my new 35mm wide door i discovered that the privacy lock spindle was at least 20mm too long for this width of door. Luckily i had kept the handles from the old door and was able to cannibalise this to finish the installation. Be warned this item is not suitable for a 35mm wide door
