I am extremely disappointed with both the delivery service and the overall experience with this purchase. The delivery company failed to deliver on the original date and provided inaccurate information, claiming they could not access the building. This explanation was simply not credible, as the building has a 24-hour porter service and access was available throughout the day. This was booked and porter waiting for this delivery on my behalf When the delivery was rescheduled, the driver arrived late again and called to ask whether it would be better to deliver the following day. By that point, I had already been sleeping on the floor for a week due to the failed delivery, so a further delay was unacceptable. I was also concerned by the way the bed was handled during delivery. I observed the package being bumped along the pavement during unloading with little apparent concern for potential damage. When I raised concerns, I was simply told to contact the seller if there were any issues. In addition, I had paid for professional carpet cleaning before the delivery. Unfortunately, the protective plastic wrapping was not removed before the bed components were brought into my flat. The dirty plastic had clearly picked up dust and dirt from outside, leaving black marks on areas that had just been professionally cleaned. I was also disappointed by the product description regarding assembly. The instructions suggested that assembly would take approximately two hours, so I hired a handyman at additional expense. Upon delivery, it became clear that the lifting mechanism arrived pre-assembled and the assembly required was minimal, consisting mainly of joining the two sections together and attaching the feet. This could easily have been completed by one person without professional assistance. Finally, the bed itself does not feel as sturdy or robust as my previous ottoman bed, which was disappointing given my expectations. Overall, the combination of poor delivery service, additional costs incurred, misleading assembly expectations, and the quality of the finished product has left me dissatisfied with this purchase.

Brilliant so easy to assemble very happy with complete look. So much space in ottoman.. I have gone from king size to double but I’m happy with this size

Excellent Ottoman bed, capable of operating with a very heavy mattress, loads of easy accessible storage space, highly recommend. It is very heavy though, even in two parts, so make use of the delivery to room option otherwise requires two strong person lift.

Wooden structure thin but strong, and hydraulic ottoman strong enough for the better quality mattress and topper we bought for it. Neutral material cover. Divan style - width okay, but an inch longer than our standard double mattress. Fine for our purposes: a reasonable quality spare bed with storage.
