Try as we might, we couldnt eliminate the gaps. Theres going to be a food fest afterwhile! Its a sturdy piece, and looks pretty good. Well try to maneuver some placemats to keep food from falling into the gaps.

Overall I think this is a good buy for the price. I think it works best in grey as far as the pieces coming together and looking good. The other colors as shown in reviews didnt look as natural coming together in the 4 pieces. My husband said it wasnt too hard to put together. I took 1 star off, only because with the table in pieces it feels like you need to be a little gentle on it. But overall I like the look of it. We just moved and needed a table quickly. In time I think this might be moved down to the basement for a game table but it will work just fine for us as a dinner table for now. If you have kids I would be sure to tell them not to lean on it too hard.

I really like this table — it’s sturdy, easy to assemble, and light enough to move around. The only thing is that the wood grainy on the table top runs in different directions, with one section vertical and the other horizontal, so they don’t line up. Overall, though, it still looks nice and works well for my space.

Very easy to assemble unlike similar product in the past. Though designed for 4 people, it can actually accommodate 5 people at a time. Great product it is
