This Googled-off-the-net product has blown me away. It is a solid pine product - and has ended up being quite sturdy. I went out and bought some Ronseal "Diamond Hard Varnish" and expect the bed frame to last "for ever" effectively. Very happy with it.

Great self assembly frame bed. Clear instructions. Wood chippings had to be cleared from holes so bolts would fit.
