Amara Upholstered Ottoman Storage Bed

The box was rather bashed up on arrival. Thankfully no damage to the product. All parts were present, so no problem there. The quality of the bed not great, but just about acceptable for the price. The instructions are rubbish, so building it is more of a puzzle than a straightforward process. I am good at this sort of thing, so I worked it out. But there are details that the instructions don't mention and parts that they don't tell you where to put! They state you need 45 mins to build. No, you need 2 hours. But it is possible with just 1 person. Once built it all works OK. A little heavy to lift but once you get it moving it works well. My only real criticism is that the slats are only just sufficient. They could do with being closer spaced ie more of them, and they are a touch too flexi. Prior to the bed frame arriving we had our mattress (new simba hybrid pro) on the floor and it was very comfy on its own. Now the weak slats have made it all a bit too soft. So beware. I can't see a way to easily stiffen things up.

Good price. Fast delivery. Spacious hidden storage space. But the instructions weren't clear and there were not enough parts (washers).

Easier to assemble than I expected and quality is good for price. It is slightly longer than mattress which leaves a small gap but overall good value
