I bought the single size based on this frame's very good reviews and am not disappointed! It is a simple but elegant platform bed frame made of solid wood (although the slats are plywood). It is very solid/sturdy (no annoying creaks or wobbles!) and as others have said is also quick and easy to assemble. Good value and top marks also go to customer service who are refreshingly helpful. Not only free to call but the assistant was quickly able to tell me this frame has a varnish finish.

Great for low ceilings and angled roof bedrooms. Nicely made and strong. Would recommend to anyone if you need abed to go up twisty small stairs as managed to get this up to the top room due to how it was packed. A+
