Really pleased with this purchase. Very sturdy and surprisingly heavy albeit it slides very easily on our kitchen floor with nice foot pads. The pedestal is attractive and allows easy movement for those sitting at the table. It sits nicely in the corner without the extension but when extended it is impressive and allows eight to seat around it comfortably. Excellent value for money!
