Bed Frame Solid Wood

Lovely bed! Could have had easier to follow instructions and one of the pieces had to be re-drilled due to the holes being in the wrong direction. Slightly longer than is described as well as there is around a 2 inch gap at the end of the bed and mattress.

It has taken ages for us to put up and were used to flat pack! Despite this its still not up. The instructions are poor, the parts are not labelled and we have only just discovered we are missing washers to it. This bed is certainly not solid wood as advertised, it is split and looks like chipboard. I dont hold out hope that this will last (that is if we can ever put it together) No picture yet for obvious reasons and now I have to put my nice new mattress on the floor

It was an awful lot of work putting the bed together. Lots of screwing in of nails. Not user friendly. The quality of the bed is not bad either. Paint work could have been better. It had a few chips, scratches and dents here and there. But overall, design and colour of bed is nice. And also very solid.
