Stratford Solid Wood Bed

Wayfair problem It’s a shame I can not give this item a negative star so I have to give it a one to write my review. My wife and I are disabled, retired long time customers of Wayfair and due to the problems with this Stratford bed frame order number ******1474. We have had to sleep in our armchairs, as we can not use our new mattress with out the frame and it would be impossible for us to use it on the floor as we couldn’t get down or up from it. We had to get our old divan bed removed to give us space to unpack the rolled new mattress, so we were expecting 48hrs without a bed. We were sent miss labels parts (1 of 5 also on same boxes 1 of 3)this also confused delivery firm. All we are waiting for is the bed frames missing parts. All that is required is the correct size frame and slats (British double bed) Alternatively the frame that was sent, just needs Wayfair to send me 10 European size slats (95mm x 20mm x 1400mm) Here is pictures of the problem Gaps due to wrong slats Wrong box/dispatch numbers 1 of 3 or 1 of 5⬆️ 2 of 3 or 3 of 5⬆️ (confusing) Slats to short 137cm x 90cm x 18mm This is all that is required to get the bed finished for use.⬇️ The finish on the top headboard and bottom footboard must have been designed by a child as ( make your own opinion of the craftsmanship) After several conversations with customer service and their representative looking into the problem. I now have to wait until the 15th May before I get the parts needed to finish off the wrong size bed for the wrong size new mattress to go on. So it in total will mean over two weeks (15 days) without somewhere to sleep properly. Great service does not spring to mind. Quality goods does not spring to mind. What springs to mind can not be expressed Very sad and disappointed customer.

Easy to put together and looks fantastic!

I thought I had ordered a dark wood frame, it is very light, and a bit too Piney for my liking. Easy to assemble though!

Looks good in the room only downside is find signs like somebody try to fix wood on the back of footer hoping it’s not going to affect bed structure
