Merrimack Upholstered Ottoman Storage Bed

Stunning bed. Looks expensive and gives the perfect look to our bedroom that we wanted. Great price compared to others of this look and quality. Side opening storage really handy! Note: when assembling the mechanism for the lift up side was extremely stiff so we thought it was broken as wouldn’t close- turns out you just need to do one very hard push down to release it and it works perfectly now (feels like it will break on first try but it needs to be done to release the stiffness) would definitely recommend. Only negative is the base cover under the storage bit is just material but not a major issue.

Actual bed is awesome, customer service from Wayfair is questionable. After originally receiving a faulty bed (part of frame welded incorrectly), it took nearly 3 whole weeks to resolve, which resulted in them sending us another bed as they couldn’t figure out how to send individual parts from warehouse. Overall bed is 5 star, customer service 0 star. Hopefully those who read this take this into account. To add second bed received was as per specification. I’m willing to give Wayfair benefit of the doubt and try again, this may have been a blip but suggest additional training in non-conformance management or actually introduce a policy that meets and satisfies the consumer.

Really happy with this bed.. it looks really lovely when put together.. yes it did take my husband a few hours to piece it together but as long as you’re prepared for that then it’s not a nasty surprise.. mechanism for storage area is simple when you get the knack of it.. overall it’s bern a positive buy

The bed is lovely for the price point and really sturdy! The only issues were the delivery and the size of the storage section. The delivery turned up several days early with no warning so no one was home and I had to rearrange the delivery as well as moving my days for work. The bed is lower to the floor than it appears in the photo therefore the storage space underneath is not very deep so you won't be able to fit much under there. Other than that I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the bed for the price.
