Our Shelles outdoor rattan dining table and sofa set is the perfect way to add some relaxed informal garden seating to your outdoor space. Featuring a compact square polywood table, two separate 2-seater benches and a 5-seat corner sofa, this 9-seat garden set has plenty of room for everyone! A modern design with some industrial touches (those tapered dark grey - black steel metal legs with wood-effect surfaces) and some rustic element (the rounded corners and the woven rattan). This is going to look great on a deck or patio, in a conservatory or pergola. With a whopping 9 seats to fill, and an intimate seating arrangement around the square table, this set lends itself to friends, family and good times. The PE rattan is stylishly woven over sturdy but lightweight steel frame. The polywood tabletop has a wood-grain effect, is sturdy and durable but lightweight and easy to keep clean. All the cushions are deep-filled - 8cm thick for the seat cushions and 6cm for the back cushions - so you can hang out in style and comfort! The PE rattan, polywood and the cushions are all UV resistant so shouldn't fade. The frames are weather resistant and the cushions are splash proof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. This set includes a free water-resistant cover but please note, this is not fully waterproof and you should still store your cushions somewhere dry during wet weather and through winter. Looks well and is fairly comfortable. We live by the coast, so time will tell how the metal frame survives the salty sea air over winter but so far so good (1 week). The Lift-up table is a good in theory but it's a two person job - if you try to raise on your own, the opposite side which you had just raised clicks back down into place which is quite frustrating. Minor gripe would be that the Allen Head screws supplied for the install were very soft and easily rounded if not taking care to assemble. Also the spec list says it comes with a Fire Pit which is misleading - I wasn't expecting a fire pit anyway as it doesn't show it in the pics but just clarifying for anyone else. Some pics with the cushions on & off, and a few close ups of the basic frame clips under the Lift-up table - hopefully you can see how it works with the clips set at two different levels. I also bought the cover to match the set and it is made of good quality material and fits well. Now.... off to buy a storage container for the cushions.. Bryan.
