Great as a spare bed to use in my sewing room. Unfolds and moves easily, I am elderly so a great advantage as I can prepare the bed without help. Simple to put together but does need help to remove from the box and lifting after the wheels are attached. The bed seems strong but the mattress is rather thin for two people so I put a single duvet on the mattress and then covered with a quilted small double mattress cover before laying the sheet, this all stayed together very well and my two adult guest had a good nights sleep and said they were comfortable. Perfect spare bed for guests. Like the combination headboard/footboard which keeps the mattress in place. Also, like that there is no middle rail which makes other brand's foldable beds very uncomfortable - particularly looked for that there is no middle cross rail under the mattress. Dreadful bed. If I hadn’t have had a guest due to stay I would have sent it straight back. There was absolutely no way the fixings for the bed slats would snap into place, if you pressed too hard they broke. The unique daybed, where the legs simply fold underneath the base when not in use. With a very strong mesh base, you can add the headboard of your choice thanks to the pre-drilled holes in one end. This product has been tested & certified to carry a weight of 300kg (150kg per side of the bed).

White Matt, Double (4'6)

Happy with the finished product although construction is not for the faint-hearted. It says it requires three people to assemble it however I managed 95% of it on my own and with a bit of planning, a second person is useful when it comes to manouvering the two halves around the room. I managed to construct the double bed version entirely in a room which is only 13ft by 8ft. The hardest part is following the instructions, they are not particularly clear in places and the "magnified" bits could do with being 2x larger. One step is particularly baffling where it expects you to screw a large nut in at either side but doesn't explain that you do it from the opposite side (well I did anyway because it was impossible to do it any other way). Some of the wooden holes didn't line up perfectly with the metal frame so I had to enlarge them slightly with a drill. Also some of the screws are already screwed into the pieces rather than being in the bags so you can be hunting around for things which are hiding in plain sight. Once constructed and in place the bed feels solid, the mechanism works well, in fact the springs are so powerful that until you get the bed flat it feels like it would catapult shut if you get go of it! The straps which hold the mattress in place seem like a bit of an afterthought, there are no pre-drilled holes to fix them in place and you just basically screw them to the wood, it'd look nicer using steel screw cup washers..
