The Archie & Oscar swing seat feeder is perfect for feeding small birds. The swing seat feeder's small scale and the swinging nature make it awkward for larger birds to approach. But little birds can land on the ropes, chair arms and seats. Place food on the seat tray, which you can pop out to enable old birdseed to be easily cleaned away to maintain good bird hygiene. The tray is made from a recycled plastic composite material, textured to look like wood. The swing seat feeder is suspended using its natural hanging rope. It features a robust arm design with hanging ropes knotted on the inside of the armrests. Reminiscent of lazy sunny days, the swing seat feeder makes a charming addition to any wildlife garden.

Attaching to the bottom of a large seed feeder by means of 4 hanging chains, this plastic tray will catch all the seeds and seed casings that are discarded or dropped as the birds feed. Helping to keep lawns or flowerbeds clear of debris, the tray also acts as a secondary feeding platform for birds. There are 4 small holes at the edge of the base to allow for water drainage. Simply hook the chains to the bottom lip of the feeder of your choosing and this simple yet elegant solution to dropped bird seed mess is ready to go. The chain length including hook is 21cm. Hanging bird tables are perfect if you only have a small garden or they can also be used on a balcony or patio. Even if you have a larger garden you will often find that if you hang a bird table from tree birds will prefer to use it as it is in a more natural environment for them to feed in.

The bird feeder is simply one of the most attractive and practical bird tables around. It features intricate lattice woodwork in a painted green finish, with a real verdigris copper roof and a natural rope for hanging. Unlike most bird tables which are tricky to clean and become messy, their bird feeder has a clever detachable side panel and re-cycled plastic tray which lifts out for easy cleaning. This also gives access to the inside edges of the bird table so they may be brushed out removing any old food which may harbour bacteria. This allows for excellent standards of bird hygiene to be achieved. The balustrade of latticework and arches around the bird feeder provide a restricted height, safe area for smaller birds to feed. This space limitation prevents access by larger species such as crows, pigeons, magpies, seagulls from the food. It also makes life difficult for predatory sparrow hawks whose habit is to target small birds on open feeder tables.

BIRD FEEDER NOT INCLUDED Designed by Simon King The Chanan Feeder defender is a Bird Feeder Protector that is perfect for small birds but discourages larger birds (Jackdaws / Rooks / Pigeons Magpies etc). Some bird species, such as these larger birds can clear out a seed feeder in a single morning, leaving nothing for the smaller bird species that visit your garden. It has been designed to work with a wide variety of hanging feeders. Site the Defender... as you would a hanging bird feeder - away from nearby obstructions such as tree branches or bushes. Then hang your cylindrical seed, nut or fat feeder from the hook on the lower inside lid of the defender. For the defender to be most effective, ensure the bottom of your feeder does not hang lower than the bottom of the dangling chains. After a short while, the smaller birds that visit your garden will learn to comfortably flit between the hanging chains and soon begin to use them as perches when approaching the feeder within or whilst waiting for their turn to feed. The bars on the top of the Defender also provide a comfortable staging post for small birds to perch and wait their turn. Large birds on the other hand dislike the feeling of the chains on their flight feathers and most will soon give up on trying to feed on the protected feeder. Use a separate Medusa Feeder Defender for each feeder you wish to protect from larger birds. Important : to have the desired effect the feeder must be of a standard type because obviously feeders with a wide tray defeat the object of the defender by providing a grab point The defender was tested over 3 years where mobbing was a problem and provided safe feed zone for small birds It will not defend against starlings (which need support) or that sized bird .
