This box is great value for money. Delivered on time. It’s lightweight but sturdy when all put together. It has two wheels at the base on one side for moving. It is lockable if you needed that feature but You would need to supply your own padlock. It has been tested with two heavy rain storms and our patio set cushions remained dry.It is easy to construct just take your time in assembling it as once the push clips are in position they are difficult to undo which is a good feature if you clip it together correctly first time. Once put together the bench looks good and is sturdy enough, but some of the moulding in the manufacturing process isn’t quite perfect. Some of the click in parts, just don’t click in properly or at all. The actual instructions are easy to follow and it took me about 60-90 minutes to complete. Loads of storage space.. Joanne. Quick delivery. We are using this indoors as a blanket box, as we cannot find a large enough blanket box online. However the smell of the wood stain is taking some shifting. Will have to put it outside on a fine day to air off. The sides are plywood and in my opinion would not last a winter outside. The big problem is that the hinges are the wrong type and simply will not operate correctly on this item even with amendments. You can see from the photo the issue. If you lower the hinge from its designated position it won’t close the lid at all as it catches at the back. I have fitted kitchens and bathrooms for a living for over twenty years and can work my way around these types of problems, and now have the lid opening and closing well, but it does not sit properly on the box when closed, but fortunately due to the lip that goes around the top it isn’t noticeable.
