The unit is just what I was looking for to go in the bedroom. I bought the matching stool, I was a bit reserved given the dimensions before buying and wish I hadn’t as it is way too short (or perhaps the desk too tall. It could be a drawer shorter). I’m going to have to buy a foam block (or 2) and fabric to make an elevated cushion for it. Took just over 2 hours on my own and I’m a practical person, so may take a bit longer if you’re not so inclined. Some tips if you purchase this: * a step seems to be missing from the instructions. When you attach the top, make sure you also connect the front panels, using the same type of screws. * make sure you pull the edges together. A photo shows me using my knee and hand to pull all edges of the drawer flush. I also placed the drawers on the part which will eventually attach to the back, which helped keep it flush also. * when attaching the back, lay it down rather than standing up, as the instructions suggest, to make your life easier and insert the drawers last. * when putting the decorative pins in, draw a cross in the middle of the bottom right section, to find the centre easily.
