Lovely furniture, purchased the corner seat and 2 armless chairs. Reasonably easy to put together but time consuming with the spanner. Looks really nice but haven’t had the chance to use it yet. More than just a boring rattan chair and not quite an egg chair, the chair is a large rounded seat you can snuggle into, get your feet up, and relax in. The chair is all about laid-back boho rustic beachy vibes with a splash of industrial styling through metal trapezoid legs. A sturdy steel frame wrapped in practical and popular PE rattan, with the legs of the chair and footrest being powder-coated steel. The cushions are seriously squidgy with 12cm to sink into for seat and back cushions. Take some time for yourself in your own little private zen den with the chair. The chair frame and footstool are UV and weather-resistant so shouldn't fade. The cushions are splashproof (so if any spills occur, pick up the cushion and give it a firm pat on the underside to encourage the droplets to roll off). However, the cushions should not be left outside or in damp conditions. Store them somewhere warm and dry. If they do get wet then allow them to fully dry in the sun or somewhere warm before you store them. We're excited to bring you our new outdoor range developed in-house by our product design team! Chairs took longer to arrive than expected. I ordered 2 chairs with silver trim. One was in a box which said it was black. The other one in a box saying silver had a black trim. We had trouble getting the chairs out of the boxes and the stools were difficult to get loose from the chairs. The chair arrived very quickly, far sooner than I expected and was extremely well packaged. It took me around about an hour to assemble using the supplied Allen key, but I then had to search out a cross-head screwdriver with a very long neck (as the screws go deep inside the underside bar) to to attach the actual seat to the rest of the chair, so be warned and have a screwdriver of this description standing by when you come to assemble it. End result is one very study chair which will come in very useful for moving around the garden when required. Certainly easier that lugging a heavy bench around! Very pleased with it all.. Simon. They arrived untreated with a teek stain, that looked almost peachy in color. It was easy enough to stain a few shades darker, to the color I wanted. Plus, it helped seal the wood from weather. Also, I am switching out the cushions, for a different color. The quality of cushion is fine, a little thin. So, a little extra work, but it was worth it for a relatively inexpensive patio chair set.
