although this is a usefull shelf it is not as pictured in the first picture (delivered as in second and third pictures) and therefore does not have the re-enforcing bars running the length of the shelf. This will cause it to bend if not supported in the middle and too much weight is placed on the shelf. Great value for money and well made. I wanted to organise the top of our wardrobe so I used the pieces slightly differently than is suggested instead of using pieces as backs to each compartment I used them as dividers along the top allowing more organisation and ventilation for the piles of clothes...
