Sturdy metal material rod is rust and corrosion proof, our black curtain pole made of premium metal construction and 2.8 cm (1inch) rod. They can be used with eyelets as well as traditional curtains.

These are good rails as they look neat and streamlined plus the curtains can curve back towards the wall so are good say for bedrooms as they assist in blocking out light at the ends of the poles. They are probably less suitable for heavier weight curtains. My lazy builder omitted the centre support of tge longer length pole but I didn't mind too much since it was only to change voiles. The one drawback (pin unintended) is that they are rather fiddly if you need to undo the pole for any reason as you're fiddling with a tiny screw. Happened as after it was hung, I wanted to add additional curtain rings. Also where it joins (for the longer length) when you're closing or opening curtains, the rings can get stuck on the joint as there is a ridge there that stands slightly proud.
