I purchased this excited that i could put it in the dishwasher. Unfortunately the underside of the bottom plate gathers all the fat and burns onto the elements, which is almost impossible to clean. This results in smoke when turned on from the elements. Not worth the money and advertising misleading.

After having two larger grills for many years, we downsized as the children have all moved out. We bought the Immersa Grill as we thought it would be easier to clean - it is not. The fat drips through onto the elements which now have cooked on grease. The lid is lightweight and does not sit properly and any meat thicker than 1-2 cm does not cook evenly. To try to cook it through, the meat has to be moved and turned but the lid slides off and the plug in part at the back has come off several times during cooking. The lip around the edge is very shallow and fat has overflowed from the grill tray on more than one occasion when we have cooked bacon or sausages. Worst thing we have ever bought.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely grill. Works well. Great for single people. Cooks really quickly. Can't easily fit 2 pieces of bacon on it to make a sandwich. If you wanted 2 I can easily say you can cook 2 more and your first sandwich will still be hot. That's how quick it is. Would say if you're cooking for a family then get the bigger size. It isn't the cheapest kitchen gadget, but would say it's worth the investment. Loved the way it all separated for easy clean. That was also very impressive. Can't recommend it highly enough. Sorry no photos.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] George Foreman has done it again, I have had a few different grills over the years but the immersa is fantastic! (I love that the fat tray is built in now) It’s very user friendly. The grill size is great, I cooked bacon sandwiches for me and my partner and there was plenty of room for that amount of food. The amount of fat that was in the tray underneath afterwards made me feel terrible about how much of that I was consuming when I cooked bacon in a pan. When I had finished, it was so easy to clean. That used to be the only thing I dreaded about using grills, was the cleaning afterwards. Not this one, you unplug the power, pull a pin out of the back and the whole grill comes apart into 3 pieces and I popped them straight in the dishwasher (bonus points for being dishwasher friendly!) it came out gleaming on a quick wash and is compact enough to be in a cupboard and not taking up lots of room. If I had to try and find fault it would be that maybe it could benefit a little handle to open the grill, the steam that touched your hands when you lifted the grill could be a little uncomfortable. Overall, amazing product, can’t wait to try some toasties!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This medium grill is the perfect size for a small family. I had older models of these grills and they were difficult to clean but this is very easy. The grill cooks meats very easily and is perfect for sandwiches, wraps and paninis

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The immersa grill medium is a great size if you have a family to feed as you can fit quite alot onto the grill. Its easy to use, all you need to do is plug it in, a red light comes on when the grill is hot enough to start cooking on, it changes to green. The immersa grill is 71% more energy efficient has a floating hinge for grilling thicker foods on easier, a perfect fit drip tray, does not take up much room on the kitchen worktops and is easy to store. It also has easy removal control panel which allows the entire grill to be fully submerged for easy cleaning no problem. You can cook many different things on the grill like meat, fish, vegetables even sandwiches and paninis i made a few different things on the grill like burgers and found it easy to cook them and to clean the grill afterwards was easy as well i would recommend to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Grill made me so happy! I remember the old grills that had drip trays you had to lay in front, however this amazing grill has a built in drip tray that is removable for washing. The best addition to a grill. Easy to use like any other grill. Cooks well. Highly recommend!
