KitchenAid K400 1.4L Stand Blender with Glass Jar

Best blender I’ve ever had, early days but very impressed so far.

I did wonder whether it would be worth spending so much on a blender but after a few weeks use it definitely was. I make a lot of soup and this produces perfectly smooth results.

Beautiful and powerful. I wanted a good quality, non toxic blender and this des the job wonderfully!

Getting this on the spring sale, I was excited to purchase this blender at a great price to compliment my stand mixer. My work kitchen has this model so I was confident I’d like it. However, my unit seems to be of slightly worse build quality, the dial to select speed/programmes feels quite flimsy - like it might break off and considering this is the main way to interact with the blender, it’s a detail that has to be right for the price point. The silver band that goes around the base is also loose. Whilst the blender performs wonderfully I expected the quality to match that of the stand mixer in the Artisan line.
