Very substantial base made of real concrete. It is the perfect lamp for our narrow foyer console table.

smaller than I thought, and quality is poor. Finish looks cheap, and dull. Lamp shade is bent. Not worth the money.

I ordered two of these lamps, one for each side of the bed, and I love them! They are simple but beautiful.
