Looks great. Takes a while to heat up and the bubbles to form but as expected. Base heats up but for young kids. But looks fantastic.

WRITING THIS REVIEW AS A WARNING!!! We had this lava lamp for about 2 weeks. Today, after having the lava lamp on for about 4 hours it exploded spilling the purple water and wax all over a desk and carpet. We don't think the stain will ever come out. Don't buy this product if you don't want to be mopping it up off the floor.

Don’t waste your money on this, the glass has small marks all over it, there’s a few s cracks, the part where the bulb sits in is broken so the bulb doesn’t sit straight, awful cheap quality.

Suits grandsons room perfectly. Made a little boy very happy
