The light came in good time and although the box was damaged the light was fine. It’s a very soft light which is nice although it means we need additional light in the room. The Nevis pendant is extremely aesthetically pleasing and modern. This pendant is made of steel and is notable for its rust-like colouring. The 'Simply Dim' function makes it easy to toggle the intensity of the light using the existing light switch, regardless of which kind of switch it is. The dimmer technology controls the level of brightness using the switching pulse. This means that the light can be dimmed continuously from 100% down to 10%. If the light is switched on again in less than 3 seconds after being switched off, the dimming process will begin. When it has reached either its brightest (100 %) or darkest (10 %) setting, it stays on that setting for about 2 seconds then start again. When the bulb reaches the desired level of brightness, it can be saved for next time by simply switching off the light. When you switch the light on again, the light will shine at the level of brightness stored in its settings. The white opal glass provides a pleasant, warm light.
