I have put this on the wall in my office and it is OK. Serves it purpose for me but there are a couple of points worth mentioning. When you make up the cabinet it comes with some metal plates to reinforce the corners and aid the fitting on the wall. From a strength / rigidity point of view these are good. The issue is that they sit proud of the cabinet back and will mark the finish on your wall. I actually fitted some felt pads to prevent this. The other point to mention is that the supplied wall plugs and screws are simply not man enough for the job. I replaced these with my own and would advise anyone who plans to mount the unit on the wall, as I'm sure most will, get better fixings! The access to the unit is via the front, the glass slides in and out both ways so you need to be aware of this when it comes to mounting it. I am overall happy with the unit now it is fitted and it meets my needs.

An excellent product. I was looking for a nice-sized, wall-mounted cabinet for my collection of miniature gins, and this fitted the bill perfectly. The service was impressively prompt and efficient. And, the cabinet itself was easy to construct and hang (as per the photograph). Absolutely delighted with the end product!

When I brought this cabinet I really wanted to know how it was going to be secured to the wall. I read all the reviews, but I could not find anything so I hope this review can help someone else with the same questions. The colour I brought was oak. First off all it was a pleasure to build, very easy and everything lined up perfectly. I used a cordless screwdriver which saves a lot of time and energy, but a manual screwdriver is adequate. I really liked the fact that the backboard has screws to fix it to the back of the cabinet, it is much more secure than pins which always come loose over time. The glass shelves sit on top of the shelf supports which have little suction cups on them and you can adjust the shelves to your suiting at roughly 7cm intervals. TIP: Do not place the shleves in the cabinet until you have secured it to the wall. Okay, now to hang it on the wall you have 4 metal corner brackets (triangular shaped) which are screwed into each corner of the cabinet. There are 5 screws on each bracket making it very secure. Please note there are no pilot holes for the brackets on the cabinet, you just have to line them up on each corner and drive the screws in. I guess if there were pre drilled holes it would not make the screws as tight and secure when screwing them in. On each bracket there is an additional sixth hole in the centre which line up with the holes on the backboard. Mark through those holes whilst holding the unit up against the wall at your desired location (two people recommended for this part) making sure you have a spirit level on top to keep it straight. Then remove the cabinet and drill holes on each point you have just marked, insert your wall plugs and screw the cabinet to the wall starting from the top-down. I always use my own screws and plugs so choose accordingly to the type of wall you are fixing it to (in my case on a brick wall I used 6mm wall plugs with 40mm length screws). I was very impressed with the hanging method via the 4 corner brackets because it ensures a very safe and solid fit to the wall and gives you peace of mind. You can then place the sheves at your desired spacing and Bob's your uncle! I have attached pictures so you know exactly what I'm referring to. I did not use the sliding glass door beacuse it wasn't practical for my use and I knew this before I brought it. I attached LED lights to the underside of each shelf to achieve my desired effect and I have to say that I am more than happy with the end result. If there was anything to improve it would be more holes for the shelf supports so you have more options to adjust according to your needs, but overall I am more then happy with this cabinet. I hope this review is helpful to other buyers because if I knew this before I brought it I would not have hesitated at all. Great purchase and thank you Wayfair.

Good product and easy to follow assembly instructions. Well packaged. I would have liked plasterboard plugs to have been provided, not just those for solid walls
