Delivered on time. The gate description does not make clear that the measurements at the top need to be the same as the bottom - so skirting boards need to be considered. It also was meant to be totally stabilised using the pressure cups top & bottom, however, there are quite large square stabilising struts you place half way down the outer lengths on each side that are stuck onto your wall or frame. The strut, which is 3 inch long, may then prevent open/closing of the gate. Some of the pre-drilled screw holes don't line up properly, so had to force the screws to fit. Despite all the above, once mantled together and fitted in place, it is doing the job. Due to my skirting board putting out the width measurements, I had to fit the gate higher than planned, leaving a 3-4 inch gap under the bottom of the frame; meaning having to step over the bottom part of the frame - and my cat was able to squeeze through the gap doing a sidewards commando roll. Resolved by cable-tying a foam noddle along the bottom, but diminshed the overall look Sadly. Delivered on time. Beware of the height. It was just a tad too tall for my doors but adapted and it’s fabulous. Less prison like than the ones with bars it stops my cats scratching my furniture in the lounge yet lets light in. I’m really pleased with this. In fact bought two.
