The basket was not 100% stable when on top of the scratch post so cat never sat there. We’ve now removed the basket and just put it on the floor - he uses it all the time!

This took only a couple of minutes to build, even without instructions it's just a simple case of using the provided allen key to piece the parts together. It looks great and my cat seems to like it. 10/10
