Begin with the kitchen, the most commonly used space in the home. Cooking creates food grime that tends to be tricky to remove, but with the help of some handy tools you can cut through the grease in no time.
Clean every nook and cranny: Built-in counters and large appliances make for tough-to-reach spots, so try using an angled broom to fit into the tight spaces.

Wash bedding: Chances are, you sleep in your bed every single night, so you’ll want it to be as clean and comfortable as possible. Begin with washing all linens, bedspreads and covers. Spot-clean mattresses: This is the best time to flip your mattress if possible. Most mattresses can only be spot-cleaned, but once you’ve freshened yours up, a mattress protector will do wonders at keeping yours safe from spills and stains.
