It works great as a toy chests for my children’s bedrooms (got 2). Delivery was super fast (2 days) and via DHL. It holds a lot of toys. We made a couple of changes in order to make it more functional and safer for children we changed the hinges for stronger ones that we bought from a famous Swedish shop (*wink wink) and instead of fixing the plastic square feet that came with it, we bought small castors with breaks (25mm x 25mm). The castors make it so much easier to move the boxes around and clean the area behind it and with the breaks on, children can’t move the box around. I still want to add a slow close arm so that it doesn’t catch any fingers when we close the lid.Seems like it’s strong Mdf, but only time will tell…I’ve sat on the lid for a few minutes and it it held my weight (58kg)..
