Designed for easy self-assembly, the 12x8 Power Premium Pent Garden Shed can be installed according to your preferences, with the flexibility to position the door and windows (if applicable) wherever you desire. The door can be effortlessly placed on any side of the building during assembly, granting you full control over its layout. Crafted to premium standards, this shed boasts features like a 5-pin cylinder lock, robust 58x44mm framing that can double up to 58x88mm, and toughened safety glass (if ordered with windows). Each structure is constructed from high-grade timber responsibly sourced from forests, treated with pressure to enhance resistance against decay, insects, and the elements. Furthermore, our proprietary wood preserver formula, enriched with a wax additive, ensures long-lasting protection, allowing you to enjoy your garden building for up to a year without the need for re-treatment.
Very good quality structurally but there are one or two niggles, the front on the shed roof does is not far enough forward to meet the front of the shed forward wall; very little tolerance there, I placed extra blocks on top of the forward roof jig to bring it forward slightly, then the felt would avoid being directed into the inside of the shed wall. I also upgraded to a rubber roof which only just covers that area so you need to be very accurate. The shed panels are all modular so the panel lines do not always meet I.e it’s obvious they do not match because it’s a natural wood product. I siliconed the panels because there is a slight gap where they meet. Some panels are not straight visually you can see it’s a few mm out here and there which is fine, it’s a garden shed but it means that it will never fit perfectly and this leads to issues with everything being level. I had a level concrete base and be warned the base needs to be bigger than the shed. The bearers go on the outside of the frame but they hold the entire weight of the walls, and float in mid air unless your base is bigger. I have put some blocks under the bearers to secure it as my base was to the exact width of the shed. Overall it’s very solid and well built but you have very little tolerance for the wood being so exact.. General Diyer. Bristol. Sat Jun 21 2025
