Doing this alone in the wind was tricky but the kit went together well. Needs a few more of the 70mm screws when sent with the base kit. This handmade Lewis shed is a garden classic, essential for all homes. The shed is supplied with high quality 12mm Shiplap timber to the walls, roof and floor, all on sturdy 34mm square framing. The door comes with a full length security hinge and padbolt. There is one opening, glass window. Doors and window frames are pre-hung for easy assembly and the door can go at either end. The Lewis comes with a base coat preservative ready for you to top coat after assembly. Roof felt and all necessary fixings are supplied and the shed comes flat packed with a full set of installation instructions. Dimensions shown are for the exterior wall of the building. (Imperial measurements are rounded so please refer to the metric sizes for accuracy). Following your order, you will be sent a link to choose your delivery day. On the morning of delivery day you will also receive live tracking information. Before you assemble your building, you will need a base which is flat and level to a sufficient size. Needed to downsize our shed and this company had good reviews, unlike many others. We chose the 5 x 3 tool shed and it arrived promptly on the day chosen. The quality is good and with just myself and wife we put it together easily after watching the videos online. Our only issue was attaching the extra bearers to the base, so this took us a while to start as we didn’t want to mess it up straight away! This modular pent is shed is extremely versatile, due to the fact that the side panels can be assembled in any order. Meaning that the door and windows can be placed on any side and the roof can slope either way to suit your needs. The shed is manufactured from 12mm shiplap tongue & groove timber, which has been pressure treated and is brown in color. Every part of the shed, including the roof & floor is pressure treated and guarantees the timber against rot and insect for 15 years, so you can be assured that the shed will last the test time. The shed is supplied with a tongue & groove floor & roof as standard. Both are also made from 12mm timber, ensuring good strength and durability. If you choose a shed with windows, the windows will be 2mm perspex. The door is braced and ledged for extra strength and rigidity. A rim lock and key are supplied, to allow the shed to be locked and secured when not in use. The door lock, hinges, turn button, and handle are made from galvanized steel so are protected from rust. All fixtures and fittings are supplied, including an assembly guide. Depending on the size of the shed, it should not take more than a few hours to assemble. Two persons are recommended to complete the assembly.
