Fantastic basket! I had a beautiful oak desk that I wanted to repurpose as a sideboard, but, of course, there was a gap in the middle that needed to be filled! So, I had the idea that a basket or baskets could provide extra storage whilst disguising the gap. This single large lidded basket was a fantastic find from Wayfair! What I love about it is that it almost completely fills the opening and the eye no longer reads that space as somewhere a chair should go. It genuinely looks like an oak sideboard with integrated basket storage. I added some backlighting and a few knick-knacks and am truly delighted with the outcome. Once again its 'Wayfair to the rescue'!. Joanne. Plymouth. Wed Aug 19 2026

This beautiful willow storage hamper is perfect for use around the home. It's handmade and woven from willow, giving a traditional feel while the natural willow color allows it to sit in any modern space, meaning it's suitable for most interior styles. The rectangular storage hamper can be used as handy storage or to style around the home as a feature. The simple styling makes this the perfect solution for home and storage needs and is suitable for use in any room such as the bedroom, living room, laundry/utility room, playroom, or office. What's even better is you can tidy things away and close the lid. Willow is rapidly renewable; renewable materials come from living sources and regrow as quickly as they’re used. Our artisans use these raw fibers to handcraft our woven baskets. The neutral tones and strength make it ideal for basket-weaving and complement the home decor.
