The tough rubber wood worktop is ideal for preparing food or to place kitchen appliances. It also has four large, robust rubber castors, meaning that the kitchen trolley can be easily moved across any surface.

I bought this to do a particular job in a small space. It does that. It is made entirely of MDF, there is no wood anywhere, not even on the top which gives the appearance of being wood and providing a choppable surface. It was a sale item so for the price I paid for it I am happy but to be honest that's all that the item is worth in my opinion. Love the island. It looks great in my kitchen, provides plenty of extra storage, and can easily accommodate 2-4 stools for additional seating. Deducted one star for assembly, however. I like to think I'm above average at furniture assembly, but this thing gave me a run for my money. The directions are poorly drawn at best, and as others have mentioned, some of the pre-drilled holes were misplaced or missing altogether. That said, other than needing extra hands to place the top, I was able to put it together on my own.
