For a bed costing nearly £1,000, I expected a much higher standard of quality. Unfortunately, I have been extremely disappointed.
Within just a couple of days of the bed being constructed, three of the catches holding the cupboard doors on the steps closed had snapped. This is simply not the quality I would expect from a bed at this price point.
After a lot of back and forth with customer services, I eventually requested a refund, which was agreed. I explained from the outset that I have a spinal fracture and am physically unable to dismantle and repackage the bed myself ready for collection. I was specifically reassured in writing that this would be noted and that the collection team would assist with this.
When the collection was finally arranged today, the DHL driver arrived completely unaware of these arrangements and refused to take the bed. I was told that drivers only have around two minutes per collection and that Wayfair should have arranged for the bed to be dismantled and packaged before they arrived.
I have now spent an unreasonable amount of time sending messages, repeating the same information and chasing customer services for something I was repeatedly assured had already been dealt with. To make matters worse, after providing screenshots of the conversations confirming what I was told, I have now been left waiting for a response.

The quality of the bed has been extremely disappointing, but the handling of the return has been just as frustrating. For nearly £1,000, I expected considerably better quality and customer service.
