When I received the original item I found one of the screw and nut would not budge. I asked for a replacement, when the replacement came again the left screw and nut would not budge - after a while I managed to undue the screw and nut. I wonder if other customers found this. Great concept for a scale. My only slight couple of things I've has to get used to with the scale is that if you are moving too slow it will turn off which can be annoying and it takes a cpuple of seconds to update the weights when you pour something into a contaimer on the scale.
