Purchased SuperKing size. I Chose this to fit a MCM style decor and because the mattress goes to the edge of the platform. Due to the small bedroom I needed to save as much space as possible, and I hate knocking my shins against the sides of a bed.
I am very satisfied with the bed frame. The colour is as expected, and is a warm brown. The Surface of the headboard is smooth, no rough wood or splinters. It appears to be strong and hasn’t shifted about or creaked. Just be aware that the headboard is made up of small pieces of wood, if you look closely at photos you will notice that. It wasn’t my first preference but I still ended up ordering it and I like it.
The height available underneath is 14cm, so my underbed storage boxes didn’t fit under. I got new big bags that could squash under and I had a clear out too.
We didn’t end up using the sticky strips that you’re supposed to place the mattress onto. My latex mattress is so heavy there’s no way it’s shifting anywhere.
I did inadvertently order the assembly guys on delivery. So just be careful when ordering if you don’t want that. It only worked out to £40 though in my case, which was good value.
