Ordered this as the closest budget match to my other solid oak lounge furniture. It's not bad for the price, if you look close up you can tell it's oak veneer rather than real solid oak, although the top looks real enough, the backing board looks like laminate but when the case if full of dvds you won't see that anyway. I'm pleased with my new storage rack, it holds a fair amount of dvd's, and provides easy access without having to sort through the whole collection .. Louise. Hardwicke Gloucester, GB. Had my reservations about this as read some negative reviews. However, we are very happy with the item. Shelves are lovely, nice and sturdy and easy to put together.
