Adhara 180cm H x 90cm W Solid Wood Etagere Bookcase

Had my reservations about this as read some negative reviews. However, we are very happy with the item. Shelves are lovely, nice and sturdy and easy to put together. Some might need to anchor to a wall if heavy objects on etc. Only thing is the top three shelves are white and not grey but doesn’t really affect how we use it! Would recommend.

The look of this bookshelf is great but the quality is a whole other story. As others have said although no damaging to the packaging the ends which hold the bamboo ends which hold shelves are poor quality- held together with dowels the majority of which were broken when unpackaged and some stuck in the holes. The bolts for the back braces were too short. The top three shelves are all white not grey as shown. Finally managed to build it after buying new bolts, more dowels and wood glue. Even then challenges with getting all parts lined up. This was £147.99 when I bought it and I feel scammed so I definitely would not pay over £200. It looks nice but it's not good quality, nightmare to put together and is cheap materials.

Arrived broken in two places. Had to repair it before it could be assembled. Tried to hide the repairs so it looked decent when done.

Delivered very promptly. Nice unit pleased with it, just a couple of things the dowels were broke and not fixed very well. The main issue was the grey gradient colouring is NOT TRUE the top three shelves are all same shade of off white, they are not like shown in the pictures on website.

Read the description - only the frame is wood (bamboo); the shelves are fibre board about 12mm thick so won't support books/weight without bowing. The frame was only glued and several of the joints had seperated (only noticed when putting up). Ended having to use screws to hold it togther. Companies rely on the fact that the sheer size and weight of moving and repacking means it is a major hassle so we put up with poor quality. This item is not up to the job and is poor quality.
