Now even more beautiful! Amazonas have optimised the biggest and most popular stand . This Standard Hammock Stand is made of sturdy larch wood with stainless steel fittings but Amazonas have adjusted the size of the stand better to the current hammock models. An oil-based protective surface coating gives the larch wood a wonderful, warm sheen.

The wood is beautifully carved and is extremely sturdy it can stand alone without the hammock and won't shift in the wind or weather. Parents are so pleased. Wonderful present.. Amber. Hemel Hempstead, . Wed Sep 16 2015

Bought this standalone base so I didn't have to move a whole egg chair when the sun moved to a different side of the garden. Perfect for me! It sits on a wooden deck and only touches the surface in four small places at the base, so water won't be trapped underneath. It's very solid, and was easy to put together.. Linda. Inverurie, GB.
