Wood is a natural product and may expand and retract depending on the weather conditions therefore we can not be held responsible for cracking, splitting, warping and shrinkage as this is a natural occurrence, because of this it may be necessary to check the tightness of the bolts/screws. Resin is occasionally present in the timber and is no detriment, should this appear simply wipe with a cloth/white spirit.

Description confirms waterholes in bottom but none were present in both of the 2 pots , which were not super cheap . A helpful and understanding customer services guy at Wayfair , when I immediately called ,offered total replacements but as they are so large and I didn’t want that bother , I decided to keep and get holes drilled in situ . I was given a reasonable credit , without quibbling and I got the problem sorted .
