The profane translation of the term - namely shelf or frame - doesn't even do justice to this work of art. With this breathtakingly beautiful interpretation, designer Boris Pickenhagen has sent the display of fruits, canapés, pastries, or pralines into the new millennium. Its acacia wood support harmonizes perfectly with the organically shaped bowls made of highly polished stainless steel. The ring for carrying, and crowning the whole work, also fulfills the practical aspect at the same time. Oh, mon Dieu!
