First impression for the small double (4') bed frame, the Waxed Pine had a rustic look to it and took me a few seconds to absorb the colour choice, this wasn't as sharp as the Honey Pine option but it wasn't supposed to be. Each piece of wood panel felt quite light in weight but when fitted as a whole, the structure was quite sturdy and well-fitted. It took me & my wife just over 1.5 hrs to complete the fitting and there were lots of screws to hold everything in place. Remember to have an electric screwdriver handy! My next test is to put a mattress on top which unfortunately did not deliver on the same day. Overall, a very affordable bed frame (price dropped a few days after my purchase! Typical). Packaging was excellent and instructions are clear and concise. Nice simple design too.
